Meet
are darling pied girl, 'Tempest'.
This beautifully marked little painted lady is a daughter of our
incredible blue
brindle boy, Denim,
Le Jeans Bleu De Levi
and out of the gorgeous lemon pied girl,
Stephlyn Banquos Southern Camillia aka Kaylee, owned by Le
Reve French Bulldogs.
Tempest is now
seven months old and maturing beautifully. She boasts
wonderful bone, heavenly straight front, depth and width of chest,
tight feet, well arched neck, deep brisket, correct topline and
tail set, wonderful head and expression, with deep dark eyes, jet
black pigment, and is a true BRINDLE with complete pattern.
She is destined
to be a wonderful addition to Bullistik based on her conformation
and temperament alone, but additionally, her dam, Kaylee, is
line bred on some of the more notable French Bulldogs of days gone
by.....
-
Ch. Cox's Goodtime Dandy Andy
-
Ch. Cox's
Goodtime Make His Marc
-
Ch. Blazin's Ironside Perry of NRW
-
Ch. Monroe's Re-Marc-A-Bull Matt
and Tempest is a great granddaughter of the very handsome pied
boy BIS
CH. Stephlyn's Absolutely Fabulous 'Fabio'!
Since Tempest
is a Denim
daughter, she does carry the dilution allele that produces those
lovely shades of
blue in
brindle & black mask fawn French Bulldogs, and we are very
excited at the prospect of this beautiful girl's future
contributions to our breeding program.
We are looking forward to
exhibiting our little Seattle Storm in the future, and hope that she
will have as much success in the show ring as her pied
half-brother, CH. BULLISTIK BLU-RAY
'Razor'.
Tempest
found out the hard way that Texas takes a little getting used
to, especially since she joined our family at the beginning of
summer; not the best time of the year to transplant to the lone
star state.
The weather in
Seattle (where Tempest was born) is a far cry from the HOTTER than
the hubs of H--L, catastrophically HUMID climate that we Texans
complain about year after year, but choose to put up with
regardless.
However, Tempest
has learned to acclimatize in just a few short months, and now
Tempest has become a tried and true Bullistik Texan.
Besides playing
with her 4 legged Frenchie friends, her other favorite pastimes
are gardening, fishing for crawdads, and jogging after me while I
desperately try to get photos of her standing still.
We really have
been working on that STAND/STAY command, but like the majority of
French Bulldogs, Tempest tends to obey commands when, and only
when, it suits her.
Below are a few photos of
Tempest shortly after her arrival in Texas; doing what she does best!
