Where do I begin??
This
25 pound chunk of perfection is one of the most handsome pieds I
have ever had the pleasure of breeding and sharing my life with.
'Tomahawk' has
that glorious full hood, and a solid white body that is as pure
and clear as the driven snow; no ticking, no place. And at
Bullistik, that 'no ticking' policy is mandatory in our pied
breeding program.
He has
beautiful heavy bone, tight little cat feet, strong straight
front, deep and wide chest, pretty topline, nice tuck up and
spring of rib, correct tail set, moderate angulation, dark eyes
that are tight in their sockets, beautiful bat ears with correct
ear placement, deep wide muzzle that is well laid back, a monster
square head, and the sweetest temperament you'll ever find on a
frogdog.
Of course
Tomahawk has been health screened and has the following
certifications:
BAER: FBU-BR6/4M-PI CERF: FBU-785/2006-14 OFA
Cardiac:FBU-CA354/18M/P-PI
OFA Patella:FBU-PA447/18M/P-PI OFA Hips: 1179704 FAIR
OFA Elbows: 1179704 NORMAL.
Tomahawk's dam
is our bred-by fawn girl, Ch. Tea-D's Heart of Gold
'Belle', shown below with her owner/handler, Kimberly Rice, and
his sire is the very handsome Ch. Hollycrofts' Going Supersonic
'Gino'. I had the pleasure of
meeting Gino in person at the 2004 National Specialty and knew
right away that he was the right boy for our Belle, and Tomahawk
is living proof that I made the right decision.
Gino has passed
the following health clearances:
OFA Hips: FBU-196G26M-PI and OFA Patella:
FBU-PA326/24M/PI
Belle has
passed the following health clearances: OFA Cardiac:FBU-CA217/51F/P-PI OFA Elbows:FBU-EL59F29-PI

Hips:FBU-121F29F-PI
Tomahawk has
both of his MAJORS toward his AKC Championship and earned those in
his very first weekend out as a show dog. What a way
to start!
Tomahawk has
been bred sparingly and has produced several little SUPER STARS
already.
From Tomahawk's
first litter, bred to our Black Mamba, his first born brindle son,
Adjatay Signe Bullistik, easily finished his Championship under
the tutelage of his co-owners and handlers, Sharon and son,
Tyrel Woods. 'AJ'
is
currently having fun in the BOB ring while his cream companion,
Angel Signe Bullistik, is working on her AKC championship title.
Tomahawk's
second litter produced another shining star, a lovely little pied
princess known as 'Naughty', and I can assure you she tries her
darndest to live up to that call name.
'Naughty',
otherwise known as, Ch. Chitawee's Here Comes Trouble took no
prisoners when it was her turn to enter the show ring in that
quest for her title. Her first time in the ring was at the
Northern California French
Bulldog Club Specialty show where she politely took Winners Bitch
for her first FIVE POINT MAJOR!
Well, Naughty
had only just begun. Saturday following the Specialty was
the
supported
entry at the Coyote Hills KC and guess what? Yep, Naughty
did it again; Winners Bitch for another whopping MAJOR! Well
she was on a roll now and no point lettin the momentum die out so
yep, Sunday came and with it another supported entry and with that
another FAT MAJOR for Naughty and her new CHAMPIONSHIP title.
Congratulations
to breeder Kathy Clayton, owner Melissa Hagerstrand, and of course,
the rotten spotted child's proud papa, Tomahawk!
Naughty's
sister, 'Rose'
is
pointed toward her title and 'Swayze' has just started down
the campaign trail and we wish both girls much success in the
ring.
Tomahawk is
still trying to decide whether it is more important that he
travel the country, parading his wares in front of judges, or if
he prefers to hang out at home and continues to do what he does
best, entertain the ladies and make some more of those pretty
babies.
For now, he
loves country living and has
new puppies in the nursery to look
after and teach a thing or two, so he isn't planning to start
traveling again any time soon.
