Allow me to introduce our undeniable and appropriately named, ROCKSTAR............

this incredibull redhead hasn't taken a wrong step since he climbed out of the whelping box which made his name so easy to come up with; simply take one look at him and the first thing that comes to mind is, he's a rockstar!

Stunning red coat, jet black mask, deep dark brown eyes, ears from here to eternity, and I am just getting started on what exactly makes this little dude live up to the name he was dubbed with.

He has matured into an incredible specimen of the breed; correct in every aspect with a temperament that is equal to his physical attributes.

Of course, we expected him to be HOT, HOT, HOT since he was a son of our redheads, Nero and Sahara, but I don't think that even his greatest admirers realized just how special this little redhead really was.  Like a fine wine, this kid just continues to get better with age.

Rockstar's first time in the show ring was at the Frog Frolic B Match held at the French Bulldog Club of DFW Specialty show in March 2009.  At that point, 5 months old, his little feet had never touched a mat, he'd never attended a handling class, and had never been to an AKC show, but he promptly trotted into the ring and strutted his stuff like a little pro.  

He had a grand time in the ring with all of his frogdog competitors, and came away with a BOS under match judge and French Bulldog breeder, Gordon Adams. 

It has been uphill for Rockstar, in the show ring, ever since with a major win at the Heart of Texas French Bulldog Specialty, a Group 2 under Judge Eva Berg, a Group 4 under Judge Steve Keating and each of these very special awards were garnered before he turned a year old. AND, to top it off, his AKC Championship title at the tender young age of 12 months.

Rockstar is one of those French Bulldogs that just seems to attract attention and catches everyone's eye, and we appreciate all of the wonderful compliments about our boy from all of the French Bulldog breeders and Frenchie judges that have had the opportunity to meet or see Rockstar up close and personal.

We are so excited about this boy and his future in the show ring and as a part of our breeding program.  For now, he is going to continue to do what he loves..........strut his stuff in the show ring.  

Rockstar is owned, pampered, and trained by Johnan Ratliff, bred and co-owned by Bullistik, and handled by Michael Shepherd.
